SCS attended the Ribbon-cutting Ceremony to inaugurate the Isolation and Care Area F0 Enterprises of Saigon City Hi-Tech Park.
Accordingly, an isolation area with a scale of 200 beds, with a total investment of about 1 billion VND, was established at the Institute of High Technology of HUTECH University with 2 floors with a total floor area of 5,000 square meters.
Workers with mild or asymptomatic RT-PCR results for SARS-CoV-2, with no underlying medical conditions, and ineligible for home isolation will be isolated in this area. In particular, here is equipped with a number of exercise and sports equipment, a library. Therefore, the quarantined F0 workers here can run exercises on the machine, do yoga and read relaxing books, this helps the patients to do light physical exercises and provide mental support.

At first, there were only 50-70 beds, depending on the situation, the number of beds could be increased. This facility is operated by North American General Hospital Joint Stock Company under the expert advice of Thu Duc City Medical Center.

Ms. Ho Thi Thu Uyen, Head of the Business Association of the Saigon Hi-Tech Park, said that this is a model of socialization, and the entire cost of the isolation area is due to the contributions of businesses. Workers coming here will be monitored, cared for and treated completely free of charge. Enterprises only pay for meals for their employees with 120,000 VND/day, while machinery, equipment and supplies are contributed by businesses.
"After 7 days, the F0s will be tested for RT-PCR, if the results are negative, they will be sent home, and if they are not negative, they will continue to stay for monitoring, up to 14 days, they will be returned. From receiving to treatment monitoring as well as linking with hospitals in Thu Duc, we have made a very careful and thoughtful preparation" - Ms. Uyen informed.
Mr. Dang Van Chung, Director of Datalogic Factory, Saigon High-Tech Park, said that as soon as the city eased the distance, workers who did not attend 3 on-site returned to work, within 1 month the company There are now 20 cases of Covid-19. "This is a preparation of the Management Board and the support of businesses to help workers when they cannot isolate at home.
