On the morning of October 24, Ho Chi Minh City Hi-Tech Park Management Board (SHTP) held a celebration to commemorate the 16th anniversary of its founding (October 24, 2002 - October 24, 2018) and the public reward ceremony.

 

At the 16th anniversary of the establishment of the High-Tech Park, Mr. Le Hoai Quoc, Head of SHTP Management Board, said that after 16 years of establishment and development, HTP has granted investment certificates for 148 projects. in which, there are 93 domestic projects with investment capital of VND 38,290.8 billion and 55 projects of foreign investment (FDI) with investment capital of USD 5.4 billion. Among these, there are investors from leading corporations and high-tech companies in the world such as Intel, Sanofi, Samsung, Schneider, Datalogic, Jabil, etc. These results contribute positively to the additional investment capital. FDI, contributing to the city economic growth; at the same time contributing to creating jobs and training, improving skills for workers.

Representative of Sacom-Chip Sang Co., Ltd, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Thuy - CEO is honored to be one of the enterprises that have been awarded the Certificate of Merit by the High-Tech Park Management Board.

In addition, KCNC TP contributed to the value of production in the direction of increasing the proportion of service sector, industry and gradually reducing the agricultural sector. The total value of hi-tech product output so far has reached nearly US $ 45 billion. Expected in 2018 will reach 14 billion USD and by 2020 will exceed 20 billion USD.

 

In addition, KCNC TP has established 5 laboratories attracting 16 doctors, masters working in laboratories; there have been more than 40 scientific articles in ISI International and national journals; 4 published intellectual property and 7 commercialized products. In terms of nurseries, HTP has supported 25 successful commercialization projects. The incubator businesses have attracted and created jobs for more than 300 highly qualified workers. The total revenue of the incubating projects in 2017 reached over VND 5 billion.

 

In order to develop the High-Tech Park until 2020 and vision 2030 goals to 2020 and 2030, Mr. Le Hoai Quoc said that SHTP will approach and anticipate the development of Industry Revolution 4.0 based on digital technology. and integrate all intelligent technologies to optimize production processes and methods; with technologies that are and will have a great impact such as 3D printing technology, biotechnology, new materials technology, automation technology, robots ... Along with the development orientation of the planning city 3 districts: 2 , 9 and Thu Duc become creative urban areas, HTP will build a complete creative ecosystem in creative urban area.
