Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Hoang Tung - Chairman of Thu Duc City People's Committee said that in 2021, despite many difficulties when newly established, Thu Duc city still achieved a budget revenue rate of 10,350 billion VND, exceeding assigned budget. Up to now, through 9 months of 2022, Thu Duc City has collected 17,091 billion dong, far exceeding expectations. To get the results, the business community in the city has made a great contribution, especially the newly established city and the population size is only about 1.2 million people. Not only that, through the activities of the Association of Entrepreneurs - Enterprises, taking care of social security for local people and preventing the Covid-19 epidemic has also achieved positive results.
Up to now, Thu Duc City has about 47,182 businesses that have been making important contributions to socio-economic growth and stability, actively contributing to job creation and income for workers, contributing contribute to the state budget and implement social security policies.

Accumulated in the first 9 months of 2022, the industrial production value reached VND 27,690.48 billion, up 41.2% over the same period, reaching 80.12% of the 2022 plan.
