Earth Hour is an annual international event initiated by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to raise public awareness about climate change and energy saving around the world. The event of turning off lights for one hour in response to Earth Hour 2025 will take place from 20:30 to 21:30, March 22, 2025 (Saturday) with the message "Green transition - Green future".
The campaign calls on organizations, individuals, families, businesses and all electricity users to join hands in responding to climate change with small, practical but meaningful actions such as voluntarily turning off lights, decorative lights, advertisements, and unnecessary electrical equipment during the Earth Hour event in 2025; Together using high-efficiency electrical equipment with energy labels and implementing safe and energy-saving solutions; Limiting the use of plastic products, nylon bags and doing a good job of environmental sanitation, contributing effectively to the prevention and control of highly contagious diseases.
In the spirit of supporting the Earth Hour Campaign, Sacom - Chip Sang Company Limited carries out the following activities:
- Implement the "Turn off the lights" moment for 1 hour from 20:30 to 21:30, March 22, 2025 - Saturday
- Propaganda about the Earth Hour campaign in 2025 to all Customers/Partners at SCS building through online forms (website, social network of the building)
- Mobilize all officers, employees, workers in the unit to proactively turn off the lights in their households, implement saving solutions, effectively use resources, fuel, energy to respond to climate change.
- Take care of and increase the creation of green areas in the building premises.
Every small action today is a big step towards a green future. Earth Hour is not just an hour of turning off the lights but an opportunity for us to commit to protecting the Earth every day. SCS Building hopes that the staff and workers working at SCS Building, along with Customers/Partners, will enthusiastically participate in the activities responding to the Earth Hour Campaign 2025.
