Meanwhile, the situation of occupational accidents in areas without labor relations shows signs of increasing in both the number of cases and the number of victims.
Recently, Directive No. 31-CT/TW dated March 19, 2024 of the Secretariat on continuing to strengthen the Party's leadership over OSH work in the new situation clearly states: OSH work has not met the requirements. demand, the number of occupational accidents has not decreased, occupational diseases have not been paid attention, especially in areas without labor relations. Some party committees, authorities, businesses, production and business establishments, and workers do not take occupational safety and health seriously... The awareness of law enforcement among workers and employers is not strict.

The Directive also sets the goal of striving to reduce occupational accidents, especially serious occupational accidents, with the rate of fatal occupational accidents reduced by at least 4%/year; The number of workers working in environments exposed to risk factors being examined and detected for occupational diseases increases by at least 5%/year; The number of establishments generating harmful factors that are monitored for working environment increases by at least 5%/year.
