At the same time, the approach to the pedestrian bridge is also the main escape route for passengers in case of emergency incidents (fire, explosion) at these stations.
According to the project design, the pedestrian bridge includes a left and right branch connecting the elevated stations, along Vo Nguyen Giap street.

Currently, along the route, there are 9 pedestrian bridges including Tan Cang, Thao Dien, An Phu, Rach Chiec, Phuoc Long, Binh Thai, Thu Duc, high-tech park and National University station, all of which have been completed, all of which have been installed with roofs. In addition, in the area of the pedestrian bridges, there are private parking lots, taxis and buses are also in the process of completion.
