Speaking at the Techfest-Whise 2023 Imprint program, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that startups and innovations will create value on the basis of exploiting intellectual property, technology, and new business models. .

Ho Chi Minh City ranks in the 81-90 group of 100 emerging global startup markets. Currently, Vietnam has over 3,000 startups; Over 140 universities and research institutes organize startup and innovation activities with incubators, centers, and startup support clubs.
Many businesses, large corporations, and overseas Vietnamese abroad have actively participated in the startup and innovation ecosystem in Vietnam. Many Vietnamese startups and innovations worth hundreds of millions and billions of dollars have been formed and developed not only in Vietnam but also in many places around the world.
