Ministry of Science and Technology and High-Tech Park Management Board (SHTP) visited SCS building
Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Mr. Bui The Duy chaired the Conference on implementing Decree No. 10/2024/ND-CP on High-tech Parks. The delegation of the Ministry of Science & Technology and SHTP visited the SCS building.
Deputy Minister Bui The Duy of the Ministry of Science and Technology said that the Government has recently issued Decree No. 10/2024/ND-CP replacing Decree No. 99/2003/ND-CP regulating High-tech Parks. This creates a legal corridor for high-tech parks in establishing, expanding, building preferential development policies, especially the one-stop policy, creating the best conditions for foreign investors in high-tech parks.
Accordingly, with the direction that Ho Chi Minh City High-tech Park is focusing on developing human resource training centers, knowledge sharing centers; as well as many other corporations will allow the spread of the latest, world-leading tools in microchip design automation.
The leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology also believe that Ho Chi Minh City, with its specific policies, will have many breakthroughs in the development of science, technology and innovation, creating a new wind for sustainable socio-economic development of the City, making an important contribution to building a sufficient system of national products for Vietnam.
The delegation visited the SCS Building and High-tech companies such as Microchip company to listen to the reality. Microchip also mentioned the current difficulties of the recession starting to shift to the IT industry. Microchip has reduced salaries, bonuses and reduced staff.
