On June 26th, the Training Center under the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park Management Board (SHTP Training) collaborated with KUKA Vietnam Co., Ltd. to inaugurate the KUKA Automation 2.0 Technology Center.
The center features robots working in harmony, simulating a miniature smart production line. For example, the autonomous transport system includes mobile robots that lift and lower goods autonomously, moving flexibly and accurately performing picking, dropping, handling, and distributing products; a diverse system of robotic arms…
The entire hardware system operates on the KUKA AMP automation management platform - a universal operating system that strongly promotes the shift from automation 1.0 (purely hardware-based) to automation 2.0 (based on software and artificial intelligence, AI).
The Automation 2.0 Technology Practice Center is expected to help SHTP Training create an optimal learning and internship environment for learners to develop sustainable careers, immediately meeting the standards of manufacturing plants.
The center also helps standardize training programs by implementing a Train-the-Trainer model to enhance the capacity of the teaching staff, as well as designing basic and advanced courses for students and engineers, and organizing international certification exams…
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thu - Director of SHTP Training - believes that robotics and automation are no longer a distant trend of the future, but have become an essential need at present. The demand for engineers and experts capable of operating and programming intelligent automation systems in Vietnam is increasing rapidly.
"We are very much looking forward to the opportunity for schools, colleges, and training institutions to participate in hands-on technology experiences, while also developing training programs and bringing students to intern and study at the center," Ms. Thu said.
