Mr. Nguyen Anh Thi, Head of SHTP Management Board, said that in August, along with training activities, the unit will organize incubation activities, forming start-up projects in semiconductor IC design, helping build a source of domestic enterprises. From the start-up enterprise, Ho Chi Minh City Hi-Tech Park builds a mechanism to attract enterprises to develop domestic microchip factories.
At SHTP, Intel is investing in chip packaging. SHTP will come up with a strategy to strengthen and develop the ecosystem, to attract other businesses to bring machinery and equipment to invest in factories in Ho Chi Minh City Hi-Tech Park to serve the packaging stage. Previously, in August 2022, Synopsys sponsored 30 IC design licenses for 3 years worth tens of millions of USD to SHTP and organized training and certification for 24 first course instructors.
